Introduction

Best time to visit Chopta Chandrashila

Day 1 of the Chopta Chandrashila Trek (Detailed Itinerary): Delhi – Haridwar – Ukhimath (225 kms/7 hrs)

Take the 06:50 a.m. train to Haridwar from the Delhi train station. Because once you arrive in Haridwar, meet with our guide and take the Devprayag (Conflation of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi and Dinajpur) to Ukhimath route (Confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini River). Arrived in the middle of the night in the following conditions. Hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.
After a relatively short steep stroll from Guptkashi, Due to different circumstances (1370 mt / 4500 ft) located on the other side of the Temple is situated River Valley.
Day 02
Ukhimath-Deoria Tal (2438 meters/7998 feet)
The Tibetan plateau ranges are visible in the morning. Begin your trek to Informative Tal after breakfast, passing through a dense rhododendron forest filled with native plants and ferns. It will start taking three to four hours to complete the hike. Set up the huts for the night when you arrive at Deoria Tal.
Day 03
Debora Tal-Chopta
Early afternoon trek through forested area and pastures to Chitwan. It is a 12 km hike. Set up your tents at Chopta once you arrive for the night. Investigate the breathtaking Himalayan view in the middle of the night.
Day 04
Tungnath – Chopta (3680 ft / 12070 ft) – Chandrashila (13415 feet/4090 metres) – Chopta
Traipse with a healthy lunch to Tungnath after such an early breakfast. The elevation of Tungnath is 3680 feet above sea level. Three kilometers of the hike are uphill, and you’ll pass through verdant pastures. You can see many different snow-capped Himalayas. When you get there, stop by Tungnath Monastery. You can leave for the Late or delayed high point, which is one kilometer from Tungnath, after taking some time to rest. Trek home to Chitwan later for supper and the night.
Day 05
Delhi, Haridwar, and Chopta
Drive to Haridwar after breakfast at the hotel and take the 18:05 train from there to Delhi. Delhi emergence by 22:45 hours.
