Vaccinated citizens can get a QR code-based e-pass to travel in Mumbai local trains
As per the recent announcement of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, vaccinated citizens of the city can travel in local trains from 15 August 2018. This would be possible only if they had taken their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and were at least 14 days after the first dose. Vaccinated citizens can obtain a pass through a special app. People who do not have smartphones can get them from municipal offices and suburban railway stations.
It is a one-time activity

Different establishments are categorized according to their nature of business and number of staff. To avail the universal travel pass, establishments must apply for registration on the portal. Once approved, establishments must upload a list of staff members who will be required to travel frequently. After this, the establishments can use the Universal Travel Pass to get discounted tickets, save money and time, and stay away from long queues.
It is only applicable for adults
A Universal Travel Pass (UTP) is a government-issued document that allows travelers to enter and exit the country without presenting ID cards. It is available for citizens of India who are at least eighteen years of age. Despite its name, the UTP is not applicable to children. It is available only to adults who have completed their COVID-19 vaccinations and for individuals who work in the medical, educational, and utility sectors.
It is only valid for medicine, utility, and education
A universal travel pass is only valid in the states that regulate the professions and activities that the pass holder is qualified for. A pass holder must be a medical worker or an educator with two COVID-19 vaccinations. The pass holder must have completed the second dose of the vaccination for influenza. The pass holder must also be 18 years old or older and must meet all the other requirements required for a universal travel pass.
Available only for Maharastra Citizens
The Universal travel pass Mumbai 2022 is an e-ticket that will allow you to go through the various public transport systems in the state. Its five degrees of unlocking are based on the level of the city you are visiting. For example, if you are visiting Maharashtra in a level 3 state, you can travel on all trains there without any restrictions. If you are traveling from another city or state, you can purchase a degree 5 travel pass and use any public transport.
