According to the Integrated Taxonomic Information System (ITIS) There are six kinds of the flamingo. They include the Chilean Flamingo, which is bigger than the Andean flame and the Chilean flamingo. The Andean flame is smaller. The Chilean flame is the biggest.
The larger flamingo could reach an elevation of 3.9 feet and the smaller flamingo could reach an elevation of 2.7 feet (1.25 to 1.45m) According to Sea World.
Habitat
American Flamingos are found in the West Indies, Yucatan, in northern South America and along the Galapagos Islands. Chilean, Andean and James’ flamingos are found in South America, and the larger and smaller flamingos reside located in Africa. Additionally there are larger Flamingos in India and in the Middle East.
Diet
According to Sea World, Flamingos eat larvae and small fish, along with red and blue-green algae, as well as crustaceans.
Flamingos are pink due to their high consumption of beta carotene. This organic chemical has an orange-reddish color sometimes referred to as a reddish. Similar carotenoids that contain pigments can be discovered in Mollusks and crustaceans, which flamingos consume.
There are a variety of levels of carotenoid in the diet of flamingos. This is the reason why they appear different from one region to the next.
A flamingo will cease eating carotenoids if feathers were lighter. The pink color of feathers that have been molted is gone.

The eggs are slightly bigger than the eggs of larger chickens and are able to hatch between 27 and 31 days. The chick should weigh between 2.5 and 3.0 pounds (73 to 90 grams) in weight.
Baby Flamingos are white or gray. Flamingos live between 20 and 30 years in the wild, and can live up to 50 years in the Zoo.

Evidence and fossils suggest that the species that created the flamingos is extremely old. It was created around 30 million years ago. This was a long time prior to the time that Sea World had discovered several different species of avian mammals.
It’s unclear the reason why flamingos walk on their feet. They consider it to be a perfect spot to unwind.
Flamingos are birds of the tropical zone, but they can thrive and flourish in colder regions of the country.
The theory is that over 1 million flamingos flock to East Africa each year, which makes it the biggest group of birds known to exist.
