Many car enthusiasts can attest that you love your car and want it to look great. While you may be familiar with the benefits of high quality ceramic sprays for protecting your vehicle’s surface, there is one more thing that you need to know. It is crucial to choose the right ceramic car wash products for cleaning your vehicle.
Why Dirt and Grime Should Not Build Up
There are many benefits to sticking with a ceramic car wash schedule. It can not only keep your car looking great, but it can also protect your coat from rapid wear and tear.
The paintwork will be damaged by sun, dirt and bird droppings as we drive our cars or leave them outside. It will be more difficult to wash your car if you wait too long. Some of the damage may even be impossible to reverse.
Dirt and grime can make your car appear old and worn. If left untreated, corrosion and marks will begin to appear on the paintwork. This can lead to full-blown rust.
You can make your car less attractive by not washing it properly.
There are two ways to clean your car. You can either take it to the carwash (which could cause damage to your car due improper washing techniques), or you can clean the vehicle yourself.
It will take some effort to wash your car at home. You can make your job much easier and more efficient by using the right soaps and equipment. You will spend more time driving your car than cleaning it.
We’ve reviewed the top ceramic car soaps available on the market to find the most effective, cost-effective, economical, safe for the paintwork and provide enhanced protection.
Here are some tips before you look into them.
Tips on Giving Your Vehicle Some TLC
Washing is not for special occasions
Your car shouldn’t be left to the last minute. Cleaning your car after a few days of driving, especially in bad weather, or after driving through snowy areas, is essential.
You should first rinse the car with warm water. Then, use a ceramic car wash soap to clean all surfaces.
Before you begin washing your car properly, we recommend you first rinse it off with a hose. This will get rid of any dirt or grime that may have built up over time.
The Best
To avoid dirt and dust buildup, start at the top of your vehicle. Then work in sections. You might not be able to get the whole car cleaned up in one session. Some parts may dry out before you finish.
The Two-Bucket Method
This is why we insist on it. Because bits of dirt, hair and other objects can build up in your wash mitt when you clean your car. These can scratch the paintwork if you push too hard.
This is how the two-bucket method works. Add soap to one bucket and fill the other with water. The second bucket, which does not contain soap, will be used for trapping dirt. It will also allow you to thoroughly rinse your wash mitt before you add it to the soapy water.
Use soft, absorbent drying cloths to quickly dry your car. This will prevent water spots.
Use a Protective Ceramic Coat
You may have seen in our blogs that we suggested to our readers to use a protective ceramic coating.
Either hire a professional or you can apply the product yourself . Ceramic coatings can protect your car’s paint and prevent dirt and dust from getting on its surfaces.
Prepared for Spills
To clean up spillages quickly, keep a spray bottle of car shampoo and a sponge in your car. It is easier to remove some stains if they are dealt with immediately.
Use Specialized Products
Use products made specifically for leather, rubber and glass when looking after your car. Avoid harsh and toxic chemicals. This will help you avoid putting harmful chemicals on surfaces.
Top Tips to Consider When Choosing a Ceramic Carwash Soap
You want the best ceramic car soap for your four-wheeled love, so you will want to select a product that cleans only the surface.
Avoid any products that contain harsh ingredients. These can eat into the ceramic coating and leave residue. We know how difficult it can be to find the right product. Here are some things you should consider.
A Ceramic Car Wash with a Neutral pH
While many ceramic coatings available over-the-counter are strong enough to withstand harsh weather conditions and the damaging effects of UV rays it is better to protect the ceramic coating as much possible.
Use a pH neutral car soap if you want to increase the potential of your ceramic without leaving marks or scratches.
Select Newer Generations Of Products
Ceramic car soaps have evolved to include more effective ingredients that penetrate dirt and other soils from vehicles’ surfaces.
Because these products are more soil-permeable and less prone to loosing, they can be washed with less water.
These car soaps often contain self-curing polymers. These additives protect and last for all vehicle finishes, not just paint.
Products with No Wax Added
Car wax is great. These waxes, especially carnauba waxes, can enhance paint shine but can also leave a residue layer on your car’s exterior. These residuals can decrease the ceramic coating’s hydrophobic property, increase the possibility of water spots, and cause excess dust and dirt collection.
Products without Harsh Ingredients
A product with more ingredients does not always mean it is better. Particularly if we’re talking about ceramic car soaps! Certain ingredients can be used to remove any ceramic or waxes from the car’s paintwork.
These soaps can be used on a non-ceramic-coated car. However, we do not recommend using them if you have a ceramic coated vehicle.
Be sure to carefully read the ingredients of any product and avoid those that are too aggressive. Ask a professional if you have any questions about the meaning of certain ingredients. Many products can be accidentally picked up without knowing their intended purpose.
Products that Include SiO2
Are you unfamiliar with SiO2 and its benefits for car wash detailing products?
SiO2 car soaps are designed to meet the specific cleaning needs of cars that have been coated.
SiO2 provides a protective layer to your ceramic coating. This can greatly improve the hydrophobicity and appearance of your paintwork. Your coating will look nearly new again with soaps containing SiO2.
Ultra Foamy Products
Foam is fun! It will give the grit an area to be encapsulated and lift the paint. A ceramic car wash soap will produce more suds when washing your car. This will make it easier to clean it thoroughly.
We Tested These Are The Best Ceramic Carwash Soaps
There are many different car cleaning products available today.
Some are easy to clean. Some are designed to improve ceramic car coating protection and shine. Some are also used to dissolve existing sealants.
Long ago, there was no one-size-fits all product that you could use to meet all of your car’s needs. No more!
Car wash companies have known for a long time that soap chemistry is more than just bubbles and smells. They are now producing more environmentally-friendly items, while also being more effective at improving cleaning results.
We tested five of the most popular clay car wash soaps from Amazon. There are many good car soaps, but we chose the ones that received the most positive reviews. Both regular and professional customers.
We wanted to verify that these reviews were accurate and true. We hope this helps you make informed decisions when searching for the best ceramic car soap.
This test lineup features products from well-respected car maintenance companies such as Turtle Wax, Turtle Wax and Chemical Guys.
They claim to remove dirt and mold, bird droppings, or sap from trees, as well as to improve the protection and shine ceramic coatings and waxes.
So let’s see which ones hold their promises, and which ones….well…don’t!
Chemical Guys, CWS21364 Mr.Gold Foaming Car Wash Soap
Chemical Guys CWS21364 Mrs. Gold Foaming Wash Soap has almost 20,000 positive Amazon reviews. It’s only natural to want it to try when so many people rave about it. That’s exactly what happened to me!
Although I was initially skeptical about the product’s abilities, I quickly became a convert after trying it on my more dirty Honda. You can find many different shampoos and soaps with different viscosities. But this one has the perfect combination.
The producer calls Mr. Gold ideal for weekly car washing using either the two-bucket method or a foam gun.
The foam gun was very helpful in getting lots of foam which not only helped with washing but also entertained my children.
This product is pH neutral, so it won’t harm paint or other materials like metals, glass and vinyl. The formula glides easily off your car and won’t cause scratches while washing.
This car soap is powerfully formulated with suspended polymers that remove dirt and grime. This is all without the need to remove wax or ceramic coatings.
Another thing I was pleased to find was that the product was wax-free. We have already said that using waxes and ceramic products alone is better than using ceramic car wash soaps with wax added to them.
Apart from its incredible cleaning abilities, Mr. Gold smells wonderful and leaves a clean shine.
I can say with certainty that Mr. Gold deserves a ten out of 10.
Nexgen Premium Ceramic Car Wash Soap
Hello again Nexgen!
This ceramic soap was rated among Amazon’s top choices. Given how much I love Nexgen premium Ceramic best car wash soap, I knew that I would include this product in my review.
Cost and efficiency are key when it comes to car detailing products. Nexgen has always delivered on both of these criteria. Nexgen is undoubtedly the best car cleaner I have ever used.
Here are some things you can expect from Nexgen Ceramic Car Wash Soap:
- This product contains 8 ounces of concentrated formula. You will only need to use 1-2 ounces for each wash, regardless of whether you’re using a low pressure foam washer or a bucket wash.
- One bottle of Nexgen ceramic car soap will last for up to four washes. This should be enough for most car owners’ washing needs for approximately a month.
It was done by adding a cap to my foam cannon. What were the results? There is enough soap to cover two cars.
This all-in-one professional-strength solution contains powerful emulsifiers and ceramic elements that dissolve grime, dirt, dust, bird droppings, bugs, and so much more. It’s also extremely easy to use.
It is so gentle that it can be used for all normal applications, as well as vinyl-wrapped cars, clear bras, vinyl vinyl decals and fiberglass surfaces.
Nexgen’s ceramic elements, polymers, and micropores help to seal and rejuvenate surfaces, flush microscopic pores, and also lay down a thin layer protective, hydrophobic coating.
Let me tell you all about the incredible outcome. It was like I had waxed and washed my Honda. The Honda was left with a shine that is unlike anything I get from regular car wash soaps. My car came out sparkling clean with no swirl marks.
Overall, I am very satisfied. I rate Nexgen Ceramic Soap 10/10.
Turtle Wax 53411 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wax and Wax
Turtle Wax Ceramic Wax and Wax are a combination solution that promises a scratch-free cleaning of all surfaces, as well as a brilliant shine with long-lasting chemical resistance.
This seems a little strange since I don’t believe a cleaning soap can give you a shiny, long-lasting surface. This ability is usually reserved for the best DIY Ceramic Coatings.
Turtle Wax markets its product with superhydrophobic and SiO2 polymers. These polymers should provide a durable barrier that can be used on both uncoated and coated cars. This will reduce drying time and increase water beading.
Let’s take a look at what I discovered!
The Turtle Wax solution felt very slick upon application. Perhaps a little too slick. This product makes very little suds, just as I expected.
Although I have tried many soaps in my foam cannons, this was the one that disappointed me most.
This product did not produce enough foam to make my car’s surface slippery. I was concerned that my car might develop swirl marks from dirt if it used this product frequently.
You’ll get several good washes for $11.98, which is fair considering the price. You’ll be disappointed if your car looks like it has been covered in thick, delicious whipping Cream. This soap won’t provide ceramic protection. It also contains wax, which, as I have said, won’t help with your car washing efforts.
One thing that I found to be a positive is that the Ceramic Wash And Wax does provide some water-beading protection. The water beads can still be easily blown away, which makes drying your car easy. The product sticks to the paint so well that the beads don’t want it to fall off.
Turtle Wax Ceramic Wash and Soap was a disappointing experience, so it gets a 6.
Chemical Guys WWS20764 Extreme Wax Foaming Car Wash Soap
Chemical Guys products are my favorite, at least until now. So the Extreme body wash + shine contains wax, which I try to avoid. However, I was curious to see how this soap performed.
Their page will show you that Extreme Body Wash & Wax has been described as a premium car washing soap. It is made with two waxes and restores the shine of your car. It can also be used as a weekly maintenance wash, and will lubricate dirt and grime to ensure scratch-free cleaning of any car’s paintwork.
You can check the ingredients to see that this product has a pH-balanced formula and is biodegradable. This is a great benefit for those who care about protecting the environment.
When I first started using this product to wash my car, the first thing I noticed was how thick the suds were. Suds are something I love, you know that! My car looked like it was buried in snow! This soap is very concentrated. This soap can be used to make foam with a pressure washer or foam cannon, but only half the amount.
Other things I enjoyed were:
- The fragrance – This car soap smells like a berry, but it’s not too bearable or fake.
- You can make suds with or without a handheld cannon
- Easy to wash and clean.
- It can be used multiple times without deterioration.
The thing I did not like about this product was its claim to do more than it actually can. It’s full of fancy claims about color brightness, long-lasting shine and other things.
Overall, I enjoyed this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants their car to look great. This is all you can get from it.
Overall, I rate this ceramic car soap an 8.
All Car Wash Formula, Cleaning Concentrate for Cars, Trucks, and Motorcycles
The Armor All’s Car Wash Formula was the last product I have on my current list. It’s not advertised with trendy terms, but it claims to be strong enough to remove dirt and road grime from your car for a gorgeous shine. It is safe for all car finishes, clear coats included.
Armor All’s Car Wash Formula should also work well on cars and trucks.
This product works well, even though it doesn’t promise the moon or stars. After a weekend spent in the mountains, my car was covered in dirt and mud. The dirt was easily removed and the car’s surfaces looked fantastic after I was done. My windows sparkled and shined without the need to use any additional window cleaners.
Because it’s concentrated, a small amount can go a long way. It is also very affordable at $8.62 per 24 ounces.
Overall, I enjoyed this product very much, so I give 9 out of 10
The Best Ceramic Carwash Soaps. Conclusion

These three products, which are concentrated, clean the surface thoroughly and protect the paint. These products are safe for use on fiberglass, vinyl and metal surfaces as well as plastic and rubber.
You can rest assured that I will always back up my claims that something is great with years of experience. Each product on this list was thoroughly reviewed!
