Smuggling of Cows and Buffalos Banned in UP
This is one of the toughest decision taken by the CM, Yogi Adityanath and top of the agenda of Uttar Pradesh. CM, Yogi Adityanath is the shutting down all the slaughterhouses.
Banning slaughter houses would adversely affect the meat industry and will have a spiralling effect on other industries like leather.
All the butchers are very much worried that this is our sole source of livelihood and say, the meat is consumed worldwide and there should be no politics on this issue.
"Decision to ban slaughterhouses is not fair. People will be doing it illegally, without the license must be watched," said by the butchers.

Adityanath the CM has ordered a ban on smuggling of cows and said no tolerance would be entertained on the same. Official sources did not specify that what the type of slaughter houses which will be shut. However, the BJP manifesto had said that all illegal slaughter houses would be closed and there would be a blanket ban on all mechanised slaughter houses.
Without the buffalo meat kababs, can hit the earnings many businesses. Tunday Kababi is one of the business of many businesses that has been affected by the shortage of meat supply. The shop is back in service from Thursday but they have changed their trademark kebabs and the new stickers have been posted on their walls “Chicken and Mutton Kebabs.”
